EPW - Swiss quarter hour repeater, 49mm, 9K original HC with base metal cuvette, SW-LS, WE impressed SSD, lever escapement, repeat function operated by slide on band at 6, 11-15J, gilt mvt bearing Swiss cross marking, three finger bridge plate arrangement, s#17747. Gross weight of assembled watch 54.4 dwt (84.7 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: GRO, good repeat function, excellent plus mvt condition overall, good gilt tone, very few MFS, bright steelwork; dial perfect in visible portion but with abundant edge chipping concealed by bezel; excellent hands, some oxide to minute hand end; thin gauge case shows little wear, typical MFS and some FS, many shallow dents and dings, front hinge resoldered with small metal split remaining at one edge, failed liftspring; tight brassy bow, crown shows little wear; good glass crystal.
